Webster defines “worship” as: Wor•ship  1. reverence or devotion for a deity; religious homage or veneration   2. extreme devotion or intense love or admiration of any kind.   Praise and adoration burst forth from the hearts of the believers when we come together for worship.  Through a multi-faceted set of songs, dancing, visual aids, and earnest prayer the worship services at Joy Fellowship are dynamic.  Many other words describe the heart of worship at Joy:  passionate, sincere, loving, joyous, happy, powerful, intimate, and sweet.  While we enjoy these times, we are led by the Spirit of God ensuring the worship service is always orderly, God is honored, and He is worshipped in spirit and in truth.  Joy Fellowship’s Worship Pastor, Bob Bell, says, that we express our worship of God “differently and we don’t all have to raise our hands, dance, jump, clap or run.  But, when we bow our hearts before Him, He sees us and embraces us with a grasp that is both eternal and delivering.”   Translation Services for Spanish Speakers RF transmitting headsets are available during the Worship Service for our Spanish-only speaking members/visitors.  For assistance, please visit either the Visitor's Center located in the foyer just outside the Main Sanctuary or ask a Greeter for assistance.   Sermon CD's and PodCasts CD's of the Pastor's sermons are available for purchase ($2.00) each week by placing an order form in the offering.  The order form is located in the weekly bulletin.  For your convenience the sermons are also available through PodCast on the Media page of this website.   What do I Need to Bring? Many find that it’s easier and more fulfilling to participate in Bible study when they have their own Bible with them during worship so that they can underline or highlight particular verses for later study. During worship key Bible verses will be displayed on the large projection screens for those who do not have a Bible with them and for those who carry a different translation.
